Born in Newcastle, New South Wales, Soa “The Hulk” Palelei set the pace for where he wanted to be in his fighting career at an early age. Wrestling was his first discipline in his early career and it nearly earned him a chance to compete for Australia at the Sydney Olympics. As time passed, his interests expanded to other martial arts, and the rest is history.
